I was really excited to head over to the Tribune Standard Presentation yesterday at Pier 59. Had no idea what to expect. Prints, shine and sophistication were definitely in the room. The pieces were super easy and relaxed.. in a very dressed sort of way.
The prints were amaze.. with a feminine strength that I totally relate to.
The models had clean faces with pops of bright color and slicked back buns.. I didn't notice it until someone pointed it out.. but they all had ears that stuck out. That had to have been a casting choice right.. Never the less the models ears and all were beautiful.
Set in a plain photo studio with models dangling and resting on crates (that were branded Pier 59) and ladders in custom Manolo Blahnik shoes for Tribune Standard.. the scene was super relaxed.
And the champagne lemonade comb was quite tasty...maybe a little too tasty being that I had a few of them.
On another note.. I was full on going to head into the city today..but the amazing dinner at the Standard Grill and the champagne lemonade from Tribune Standards have told me otherwise.. Going to take a little adventure in Brooklyn..I'll let you all know how it turns out..
Tribune Standard.. I "Like"
