So the weather in L.A. this past week was in the 80's. Super hot just the way I like it!
Thus the not so fall FASHION FRIDAY post. I have a sneaking suspicion that this is all about to change.. (as I look out the window at the rain clouds over head) ugh..
Anyhow.. In a ode to fall I thought I would pair this awesome summer backstage jumper with some not so summer Loefller Randall boots..
...And... this great little pleather jacket I snagged at Forever 21 a few weeks back. Such a good cheap find. It was around $30 bucks..and yes I said pleather...
I also pulled a few old faves out of the closet. This Gucci bag never left my side a few years back. It has been in retirement for a while. I have decided to wake it from its sleep..
Now the Sunnies..Okay so I was cleaning out my office..(just a little bit).. and I found a basket with about 6 pairs of sunglasses.. Chanel, Gucci, vintage Gucci, etc.. Ahh that's where those disappeared to.
The probable back story:
Most likely I was having company and was in a mad dash to get my apartment looking like I am not a complete slob. You know the drill... throwing things in entirely inappropriate places so your guest won't know how you really live...don't judge..we've all been there :)
Anyhow ..the only problem was I completely forgot about them for about 5 years lol..
Okay back to the actual topic..
The Chanel Sunnies. I would say they are about 9 years old. Not quite old enough to be vintage and not new enough to be cool..And definitely not what the "fashion experts" would call "on trend". But I put them on and I felt a little bad ass. They are just so super sleek. I adore them. Thus they too are coming out of retirement. Take that "fashion experts"!
I say all of this to say ..search the corners of your home.. you may find some treasures that were inadvertently thrown into hiding...
Anyhow.. Hope you all have jazzy weekend where ever you are..
