Still reeling off my incredible week last week.. Gotta love when that energy spreads right into the next.. Another amazing week..so much so that Jason G. and I literally had 5 minutes to shoot this before I headed off to a  cute little fashion networking..pool party..mojito event at the W Hotel in Westwood.

I was feeling extra patriotic this morning with the health care bill being upheld by the Supreme Court and all.. So I thought I would add a little AMERICANA to Stuff She Likes..

My date with Capretta..

There's nothing like a fashion date.. I had one with Courtney Capretta last week in her downtown L.A. offices..  I have no idea where I've been but it's been so long since I visited that I didn't even know that the super talented and adorable designer started a new more edgy line beautifully named 10 Corso Colombo in addition to the already amazing Capretta  (you may remember the FASHION FRIDAY post I did last year HERE)

I took my girl Amber Dixon with me because she was in need of a red carpet stunner for the SAVAGES premiere.  She wanted something edgy, slightly 90's and sexy..and I new that Courtney Capretta would have just the right ensemble..  It felt good playing stylist again.. and just now in the midst of writing the post Amber's red carpet pics surfaced.. I am super stoked ..  KILLER!

A Week of Birthday..

For the two years that I have had this blog I have posted thoughts on my birthday that I hope will take me through the year..  This was not one of those years.. This years birthday week was a bit of an awesome whirlwind filled with fun, gifts and food,  all ending in a photo shoot produced and shot by me.  Phew...organization is definitly not my strogest suit but I did it and managed to have a blast doing it..

So being that there was a lack of a what I like to think of as a heart felt thought provoking post ..I thought I would share the week in Hisptamatic photo's..

I have to start this post by mentioning that I am a year older..

Anywho..for the past two years I have posted on my birthday.. and I so wanted to yeasterday .. but the day literally  got away from me....But it was such a great day so it was totaly worth it..

Last week at 9am I journeyed to the beautiful Soho House for a breakfast slash exclusive viewing held by Montblanc.  You know anything involving good food and I am there without blinking an eye.  Of course the prospect of being amongst the first to view the new MontBlanc collection also helped.

Summer Essentials for All Hair Types.. Wen & Unite

No matter how you sum it up we're always going to be on the quest for the most amazing products. As humans it's in our blood..  And lets face it.. there will always be the constant cycle of products out doing each other for greatness.. If you are anything like me the cycle goes a little something like this..

Find the perfect product.. Hair gets totally sick of it... Find the perfect product.. Fall in love with said product.. Use said product for a year.. Hair is looking better than ever.. Said product changes the formula or goes clear out of business...ugh!

Okay enough of my ranting...

Wen. If you were reading Stuff She Likes last year you know that Wen is one of my all time favorites..  It literally brought my curls back from the brink of extinction..

Allow me to introduce you to Six Thirteen..  It's  Wen on steroids.  Need I say more? Okay maybe a little more.   Pumped full of vitamins and stuff.. I say stuff because I am not a scientist..I just know for me it works!

I am super excited about this particular FASHION FRIDAY because I decided to go light  again and I really wanted to share it with you.

I was invited by the Rossano Ferretti Hair Spa in Beverly Hills to have a manicure,  cut and amp; color.. I was already planing to throw some highlights back in my hair...so this was a welcome invitation....and I am uber happy with it.  I wanted my hair to look more sun kissed than highlighted and that's exactly what colorist Tamar did.. But more on that next week when I do a full post for you guys..

I say pull out your rompers..denim cut offs.. floral Maxi's.. polarized shades...and tanning lotion..make the change from foundation to Tinted Moisturizer..get your fresh summer hair cut..and prepare your self for the season of ice cream!

Yes I just said the season of ice cream..I'm always thinking about food!
