I was in bed one an early Sunday morning fully thinking I was going to sleep in when an urge came over me. I hopped up.. got dressed and headed over to my local Target to see the Peter Pilotto for target collection in person. I am definitely the type of girl who needs to touch with my hands.. thus I mostly prefer in person shopping when possible. Call me old fashion..
Anyhow.. it was 8 am .. and I have to say that the mad house that I thought I would encounter was pretty tame.. Mostly ladies in
no make up, sunglasses and easy topknots. Evidence that they too had hopped out of bed to venture over.
But with the calm.. there was a small storm... I witnessed my very first "fight for fashion" and I mean literally. As I waited in line for a fitting room two ladies ahead of me began to battle over who was in line first. Heavy words were exchanged, voices were raised and had the Target people not stepped in fists might have flown. I hate to say this.. but it was absolutely hilarious!
..And for those of you who may for a second think that I was speaking of myself.. I was not.. haha! Promise!
Alright on to the collection that in true Target designer collaboration fashion was pretty much sold out within hours. I snagged a few super cute Items. This ensemble, a jumper. a dress, and some sunnies, all with the beautiful prints that Peter Pilotto is known for. There is nothing like a good print. It's absolutely timeless. That's what I adore about these designer collaborations. They allow us to access clothes that we otherwise for the most part would not have access to and at a fraction of the price. Who doesn't love a great bargain!
There are a few select items still still left.. Check them out HERE and be sure to check out his collection on Net-a-Porter HERE
