I am currently on a huge ship somewhere in the Mediterranean sea.. and I should be grabbing a drink on the deck.. but after leaving you guys hanging with posts for about a week I thought I would spend some time for you.
...And what perfect time to chat about something that I am supper passionate about..
...Magazines.. actual magazines that have actual paper pages that turn and can be ripped out and folded and pinned on a actual wall. Now you may be scratching your head thinking. "..Taye you are a digital influencer.." and believe me I know this and I adore every minute of it. But I also LOVE a good magazine with shiny beautiful editorially curated photo's and words that are carefully crafted to make me think and smile and sometimes get mad at the beauty and ridiculousness of the fashion that I adore. As I see my business and businesses like mine grow I do worry that my love of magazines may have to become a thing of the past..
Why can't we have both?
I say we can and we must! Take this magazine stand for example...I've been going to this little magazine stand on Larchmont since I was a teen. Yep.. I bought many of my teen "oh so silly but oh so important to my teenage mind" mags with all my fave stars to pin up on my wall here. So this place holds a special place in my heart and I want to see it here for a long time to come.. I mean where else will I pick up my Italian Vogues, and French Elle's and British everything.. many of which gave me great ideas of what to wear and where to go on this trip.
Okay with that little piece of my mind said.. Stay tuned as I start posting all my looks from my 10 day trip to Europe starting next week.. In the mean time follow along on my Instagram for a small glimpse.. I hope my feed gets you excited for whats to come..
